I was invited to speak last night at a Young Lawyers CBABC section meeting. The topic was "In-House: Dispelling the Myths".  Labour and employment lawyers were well represented on the panel, as the other three panelists were:

• Oscar Allueva, Senior Labour Relations Advisor, with South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority Police Service; 
• Erin Cutler, who is a Labour Relations Consultant with the Health Employers Association of BC; and
• Anna Fung, Q.C., who after 15 or so years with Terasen Inc. is now in-house counsel with Intrawest.
