About Me

I am a lawyer in Vancouver, British Columbia.

I was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2002 after receiving my LL.B from McGill University in 2001.

I am currently an in-house employment lawyer for a large private sector organization.

Prior to my in-house position, I was an associate lawyer in the Lawson Lundell LLP Labour and Employment Group for close to five years.

My practice at Lawson Lundell LLP involved advising clients - both organizations and individuals - on a broad range of labour and employment law issues, as well as representing them at court and various labour and employment administrative tribunals.

Before becoming an associate lawyer, I was a summer student and an articling student at Lawson Lundell LLP.

I have also been a Staff Lawyer at West Coast Environmental Law where I worked in the Climate Change Program.

Prior to attending law school, I obtained an M.A. (Political Science) from the University of Victoria. My concentrated area of study was British Columbia government and my thesis analyzed the BC Ministry of Attorney General's "Alternative Dispute Resolution" policy.

In 1996, I was one of seven British Columbians chosen to participate in the BC Legislative Internship Program.

I obtained a BA in Political Science from the University of British Columbia in 1994.
