The 7th Annual CACE (Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers) conference in Vancouver wrapped up on Saturday afternoon. It was probably the best labour and employment law conference I have attended, with an incredibly high-calibre roster of speakers. Next year's conference will be held in Niagara Falls on September 22-24. 

Union-side labour and employment lawyers have their own organization - the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers  - and annual conference. Their conference was held in Saskatoon this year, with the 2011 conference scheduled for May in Vancouver.
